Guidelines

1. Laws and Regulations: The Summer Institute and the SVETLINA exercise will be held in the Republic of Macedonia. All Macedonian laws and regulations will take precedence.

2. Austere Conditions: The Summer Institute will be held at the Krivolak Training Center and utilize military classrooms, barracks, washrooms, dining halls, and other facilities. Participants will also be accomodated in the field.

3. Limited Communications: Only limited communications will be available while on course. Internet access and long distance telephones will only be available on weekends or in the event of an emergency. No cellular telephones or any other wireliess communications or

4. Alchohol and Drugs: No alchohol or illict drugs are permitted at any time.

5. Personal Protective Equipment: All participants will bring with them basic protective clothing. Please see the "What to Bring" equipment list.
