ATLANTIC HOPE 09
Field Training Exercise ATLANTIC HOPE 09 will be held March 5-9, 2009 at The Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex, Indian River State College located in Fort Pierce, Florida.
ATLANTIC HOPE is a five-day training simulation where participants are deployed to the fictional country of "Atlantica" to plan and conduct a relief mission within a complex emergency environment.
Participants will have to prepare and respond to scenarios involving mass casualty incidents, SAR, humanitarian negotiations, mine and IED awareness, mission safety, security, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
To ensure that all participants arrive equally prepared, you are asked to read all "Required Readings" (under "Resources"). However, most beneficial would be to have read or viewed all the material noted on this site.
2009 will be the third year of the ATLANTIC HOPE Field Training Exercise. A lab fee of $125.00 is required to pay for accomodations, food and supplies. Costs associated with travel to Fort Pierce, FL are the responsibility of individual participants as are the costs for personal items you are required to bring (see below "What to Bring").
